Megan Young well-adjusted at ABS-CBN

Very vibrant talaga ang personality ng young actress na si Megan Young at marami ang nagsasabing hiyang siya sa ABS-CBN. Hindi katulad ng iba na parang nade-depress at nine-nega pa kapag lumilipat ng istasyon, si Megan ay lumitaw talaga ang positive points ng kanyang personality.

Medyo nagkalaman pa si Megan na bumagay sa role niya bilang go-getter na trying to please others, pero lumilitaw pa ring palpak sa maraming bagay, sa youth-oriented series ng ABS-CBN na Abt Ur Luv. Kaya nga naitanong ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kung mayroon pa ba siyang nami-miss sa GMA-7.

Ayon kay Megan, "Marami rin akong nami-miss doon [GMA-7] dahil marami akong naging kaibigan sa kanila. Naiisip ko rin sila paminsan-minsan, pero I easily gained friends sa ABS.

"Sa Abt Ur Luv na nga lang, I have become so close with Carla Humphries. I always look forward each taping day na magkakasama kami. And then, kung madaling natatapos ang taping, gumigimik pa kaming magkakabarkada," kuwento pa ng dating StarStruck Avenger.

Over din nga yata sa closeness sina Megan at Carla samantalang ang roles nila sa series na pinagsasamahan nila ay magkaagaw sa isang lalaki na ginagampanan ni Victor Basa. Swear-to-death si Megan na sa tunay na buhay, hindi sila puwedeng maapektuhan ng ganoong conflict ni Carla.

"Walang inggitan sa amin ni Carla," sabi ni Megan. "Feeling ko talaga, sumaya siya nang husto when I joined the cast. Because before, siya lang ang parang ate ng mga kasama namin dito. We're almost of the same age ni Carla. We also share the same interests."

Welcome daw agad si Megan sa Dos na para bang hindi na siya halos nag-adjust.

Marami rin ang nagsasabi na sa ganda ni Megan, talagang nababagay siya sa ABS-CBN dahil karamihan ng contract stars sa Star Magic ay may halong foreign blood at parang sumusunod talaga sa standard of looks and beauty na nai-set ng nabanggit na management arm. Marami rin sa boys ng Star Magic ang may crush kay Megan, na half-American at half-Pinoy.

Samantala, nagkita na raw sina Megan at Angel Locsin, na gaya niya ay nagmula rin sa GMA-7. Wala siyang hangad para kay Angel kundi gaya niya ay maging masaya rin ito talaga sa ABS-CBN. Wish ni Megan na magkasama rin sila ni Angel sa isang proyekto. Huli silang nagkasama sa Asian Treasures, na huli ring nilabasang teleserye ni Angel sa GMA-7 bago siya lumipat sa Dos.

Bukod sa Abt Ur Luv ay napapanood din regularly si Megan sa fantaserye na Kokey.

Megan Young evicted from "Pinoy Big Brother" Celebrity Edition 2

Megan Young was evicted last night, November 17, from Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2. The Star Magic talent had been nominated three times already but her luck ran out this time when she only got 21.52 percent of the votes cast by viewers of the reality show.

Megan was on the chopping block against Ethel Booba and Ruben Gonzaga. The Ultimate Pasaway garnered 23.72 percent of the votes while the comedian from Davao got a majority vote of 54.76 percent.

When Megan was nominated last weekend, she calmly accepted the black medallion, signifying that she is one the nominees for eviction. But when she talked to Big Brother regarding her third nomination, Megan confided, "Every time na nominated ako, ina-absorb ko ang lahat dito kasi may possibility na ako ang mawala. Baka hindi na ako makapasok uli sa bahay ninyo."

For her part, Ethel coped with the threat of eviction by cracking jokes to lighten up the situation. "Dinidistansiya ko na ang sarili ko sa kanila. Sabi ko sa kanila, 'Wala nang drama-drama kung sakaling aalis.'"

Ruben has been very vocal about missing his family back in Davao. "Minsan nalulungkot po ako. Naisip ko sana makapag-stay pa ako sa bahay ninyo pero hindi ko po hawak yun. Pag lumabas ako, makikita ko na uli ang pamilya ko."

When asked to give her last message to the public, Megan pleaded, "Gusto ko po talagang i-complete ang journey ko dito. Marami pa po akong mako-contribute as a person."

Unfortunately, because she got the lowest number of votes during the third eviciton night, Megan was asked to leave the PBB house immediately. She then placed her footprints as part of the Celebrity Walk of Fame.

It's the end of the line for Megan

It's been a punishment week for the housemates for all of them committed a violation one way or the other. Kuya showered them with personal tasks left and right. And aside from the hardships they also lost their weekly task this afternoon. Will the housemates' luck pick-up in the coming weeks?

The moment Ethel, Ruben and Megan dread arrives with Toni asking each of the nominees why they should remain and extend their stay. Ethel gave a loud laugh for she is actually longing to see the outside world. "Parang baliktad ata!" she exclaimed and just thanked her supporters. Megan goes next and she shares that being a housemate is one big journey for her and she feels she has still a lot to accomplish inside. Ruben on the other hand tells everyone that everyone will miss the Probinsyanong Promdi if ever he gets the boot.

Toni then lets Ruben of the hook and frees him of his black medallion. Relief flooded the comedian's face while the two ladies remain in the hot seat. Ethel's looks of anticipation to see her 'baby' was erased when Toni announced Megan as this season's third evictee. Megan tearfully hugged everyone good-bye and made her way to the eviction hall to meet Toni. After getting a warm welcome hug from her mom, Megan proceeded to leave her footprints in the Celebrity Walk of Fame.

Ruben accumulated a total of 54.76% of tonights votes while Ethel received 23.72%. Megan was actually hot on her heels with 21.52% of the votes.

Megan and Mariel Do The Sudoku

Is this a night of reliving some of the memorable happenings in PBB Season 2? Not really. It just happens that Megan's background and traits are somehow similar to the much-loved Cheering Chick. Both are mainstays in the nomination block, they are not used to doing chores and they both have a penchant for sudoku puzzles. Perhaps that's why Kuya also made her wash a giant PBB shirt few days ago to expand her experience in life just like Gee-Ann.

This time, Big Brother had something different in store for the Princess of Charm. He gave her a mentally-stimulating task to accomplish this afternoon. Instead of the usual Sudoku booklet, she was given an illustration board where a 9x9 partially completed grid was drawn. But instead of numbers, pictures of her loved ones, friends and crushes were used in this game. The objective is to fill the rows and columns using the given photos just once.

With the help of Mariel who got a crash course on Sudoku, Megan was trying to finish it since this late afternoon. But they were distracted by witty conversations and of course the various challenges for the day. Many times she had to start from scratch, which happens to be her technique before she can actually complete everything, she confided to Victor. But it simply wasn't working this time, she added.

After eight hours or so, she and Mariel finally made it! They pointed out that all they had to do was take a break from the strenuous activity. Guessing a bit also helped, Megan cheerfully uttered.

In the meantime, 2-in-1 housemate Barron and Donnie are currently making up for the former's violation yesterday. The Wild Child continued to sleep on the bedroom long after the wake up call was sounded.As their punishment, Baron has to sleep on a hard bench with Donni fanning him like a slave the whole night! In addition to that, the Good Brother has to carry him on his back whenever they have to move around. Let's hope the two won't get eaten up by the mosquitoes outside.

Megan nominated for eviction for the second time

HOH Ethel Booba had first dibs on picking her nominee for tonight. The Ultimate Pasaway chose Megan, basing her vote on the events of previous week. She also noted that she'd rather have Jen back than the Princess of Charm. But even without Ethel's automatic nomination, Megan gathered the third highest point for tonight. The others felt that she's no acting genuinely and is still clueless on what her goal is inside Kuya's house. Can Megan stand another week inside the house? When will she be good enough for the other housemates?

Where is Sugar???

The Princess of Charm became alarmed when she couldn't find Sugar inside the girls bedroom where she left it. Worse, she claimed that it smells like poo which worried her more for her Persian cat may have been the culprit! After checking every nook and cranny and she still didn't find anything, Yayo advised her to ask the housemates if they've seen it come after her on the sala earlier. Before she stressed herself out though, Big Brother finally intervened by telling Megan to check the cabinets again. True enough, Sugar was hiding on Gab's stuff of all places!

Megan quickly admonished her pet since the owner of her hideout is asthmatic, all the while transferring Sugar to her own dresser. Not long after that, she asked Kuya's residents to bid her cat goodbye. Because even though she's really happy to have it with her, she knew that it would only be a nuisance to them particularly those who are allergic to furs. With that, Victor told Sugar that her adorable presence made them happy even for a short while (as if he's really talking to a person). What's more, he asked it to say hello to Megan's sister for him!

26K girls evicted; Megan Young remains inside Big Brother's house

Natanggal kagabi, October 27, ang dalawang 26K girls na sina Jen Da Silva at Marylaine Viernes sa Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2. Nailigtas naman ng viewing public si Megan Young na nominated last week.

Umani si Megan ng 87.89 porsiyento ng mga boto samatalang ang 2-in-1 housemates na mga 26K girls ay nakakuha lamang ng 12.11 percent. Sina Jen at Marylaine ang unang natanggal sa PBBCE 2 makalipas ang dalawang linggo sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya. Dahil 2-in-1 housemates sina Jen at Marylaine, ibig sabihin kung manominate ang isa sa kanila, automatically nominated rin ang kanyang kapareha. Bukod sa Brainy Babe Marylaine at Despised Babe Jen, ang isa pang pares ng 2-in-1 housemates ay sina Baron Geisler at ang kanyang nakatatandang kapatid na si Donnie.

Inakala naman ni Megan na kaya siya na-nominate ay dahil naaartehan sa kanya ang mga iba pang celebrity housemates dahil hindi siya kumakain ng isaw. Pero ang totoong dahilan ay dahil kulang raw siya sa energy.

Nang lumabas sa Bahay ni Kuya ang dalawang evictees, iniwan nila ang kanilang footprints sa unang Celebrity Walk of Fame.

HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD. Isa pang bagong feature ng Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 ay ang pagkakaroon ng Head of Household (HOH). Ang HOH ay may mga special privileges tulad ng special shower room, at siya rin ay may immunity sa susunod na nomination night. Ang HOH ay may kapangyarihan rin na mag-nominate automatically sa isang housemate for eviction.

Upang pagpasyahan ang unang Head of Household, pinaglaro ni Big Brother ang mga celebrity housemates ng " Touch the Color" ngunit kailangan nilang magsuot ng higanteng mga kamay upang abutin ang mga kulay. Si Yayo Aguila at Ethel Booba ang naiwan sa huling round ngunit nanalo ang Ultimate Pasaway upang maging unang Head of Household. Sino kaya ang ino-nominate ni Ethel ngayong gabi?
